Sensory Friendly Clinics
Our sensory friendly clinic room, with light covers, alternate seating, a sound machine, fidget toys and distraction items such as bubbles!
All CCHD vaccinators are trained on working with neurodiverse populations and can provide accommodations for individuals with sensory needs, including but not limited to:
Extra time
Reduced noise or light
The use of distraction and comfort items
A vaccine administered in your vehicle
A separate waiting room space
Communication aids and/or tools
Any individual accommodations that would make your vaccine experience more positive
