‘Smiles for Life’ Senior Dental Program
CCHD Offers Free Dental Cleaning Clinics for District Residents!
Over the course of the past nine years, the Central Connecticut Health District (CCHD) has proudly offered complimentary preventive dental cleaning services through our ‘Smiles for Life’ Senior Dental Program to seniors age 60 and over residing within our district towns of Berlin, Newington, Rocky Hill and Wethersfield.
In partnership with the North Central Area Agency on Aging (NCAAA) and in collaboration with the Berlin Senior Center, the Newington Senior & Disabled Center, the Wethersfield Senior Center, and Atria Greenridge Place (Rocky Hill), CCHD is pleased to announce 2018-2019’s dental clinic calendar.
CCHD’s Senior Dental Program will offer two clinics, per month, per district town on a regular rotation. As depicted on the attached dental clinic calendar, 2018-2019’s grant year will be split into three blocks, servicing each of our four district town on rotation, offering a total of six clinics per town, and a grand total of 24 clinics for the year. Each clinic will provide free dental cleaning services to 5 patients, for a grand total of 120 seniors served.
Those participating must be age 60 & over and reside in one of our four district towns: Berlin, Newington, Rocky Hill, or Wethersfield. Reservations must be made by appointment.
*Please note that space is limited and residents will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.*
All clinics are held from 8:45 AM – 12:45 PM. Please reserve your spot by calling:
This program is sponsored in part by the Older Americans Act through NCAAA. Donations are graciously accepted for this service. Funds afforded by client contributions will be applied toward CCHD’s dental program.
